Meet Nicole Coyne, not only a C style woman but a Master Trainer in DISC and a coach to business and corporate individuals.
What actually happens when a woman starts showing up with quiet confidence, razor-sharp logic, and a relentless pursuit of excellence?
She starts to get advice…
🧩 You don’t need to be so particular about everything
🧩 Stop overthinking it—just go with the flow!
🧩 You’re making others uncomfortable with all the questions.
🧩 Don’t expect everyone to operate at your level.
🧩 Can’t you just trust your gut for once instead of needing all the data?
We say we value thoughtful, detail-oriented women… until a C style woman begins operating in her full brilliance. Then she’s often advised to soften her edge, stop being so exact, or relax her standards.
The "Natural" Analytical woman is a C style in DISC Theory.Only about 17% of people primarily exhibit this style—yet their contribution is immense.
C style women often thrive in roles that require analysis, structure, and precision, bringing order to chaos and helping teams make better decisions based on facts, not just feelings.
But what happens when we stifle them?We risk poor quality, miss critical details, and create environments where rigor and excellence are undervalued.
Let’s look at what the C style strengths are:
🔍 To analyse and evaluate thoroughly. They don’t jump to conclusions—they gather data, look at the evidence, and ask the right questions. #logiclover
🔍 To maintain high standards. C style women hold themselves and others to a standard of excellence that raises the bar for everyone. #qualityassurer
🔍 To solve complex problems. Their strategic thinking allows them to unravel tough challenges with calm clarity. #problemsolver
🔍 To bring structure and order. They create efficient systems, streamline operations, and make things work better. #systemsmatter
🔍 To remain objective and fair. Their ability to remove emotion from decision-making ensures balance and integrity. #truthseeker
If we keep asking C style women to dull their sharpness, we will lose the precision, calm, and brilliance that keeps teams, projects, and organisations on track and moving forward with excellence.
⚠️ I’m not suggesting that a C style woman’s perfectionism should stifle progress, or that dismissiveness toward people’s feelings is acceptable. If her standards become inflexible or her critique turns cutting, that’s not OK.
But revisit those five superpowers I just mentioned, and ask yourself: Do we create enough room for the C woman to lead, contribute, and be celebrated on her terms?
SPECIAL NOTE: This blog isn’t claiming that C style women are the only ones who bring value, nor that other styles are incapable of excellence or thoughtful contributions. We’re spotlighting the C woman today—not to exclude others, but to honor her, especially when the world often misunderstands quiet precision for coldness.
