Facilitator and Educator

In the 1990's Marina began her career as the South Island Phone Power Facilitator for CLEAR Communications, where she honed her skills in facilitation, call centre training and team development over 5 years.

 

Her passion for professional development is further demonstrated by her 15 years as a facilitator with the New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM), where she has empowered countless individuals to reach their potential in their organisations.

Marina also contributed to the mental health sector as a facilitator at the Mental Health Education and Resource Centre (MHERC) for 5 years.  In this role she facilitated both public and incompany workshops in mental well-being and resilience in organisations all over New Zealand.​

Leadership Development and Coaching

Marina’s leadership expertise is reflected in her role as a Master Trainer with HR Profiling Australasia since 2015, where she has delivered high-impact training designed to strengthen leadership capability and elevate organisational performance. Through her deep knowledge of behavioural profiling and talent development, she has guided individuals and teams from organisations such as KiwiRail, AMP, Total Life, and Viastrada in building stronger leadership and more effective workplace relationships. As a Blanchard Affiliate and Leadership Coach, Marina extends her impact by delivering the full suite of Blanchard leadership development programmes, both in person and virtually, empowering leaders at every level to grow their confidence, competence, and capacity to lead with purpose.  Marina became the Master Coach at AttituX in 2025 Singapore and is responsible for the training and development of the coaching team.

Personal Life

Beyond her professional achievements, Marina is a devoted mother of three adult children and the wife of a sheep and beef farmer. She brings the same level of commitment, passion, and excellence to her family life as she does to her career. Balancing her roles as a mother, wife, and professional, she exemplifies the strength and dedication of women in leadership.
