What Happens When You Invite The Universe In

It was April 2025 when I reached out to a colleague in New Zealand and said "Hey friend, I'm travelling through Singapore twice in the upcoming months, is there anyone you think I should meet there?" The answer came back quickly "100% you need to meet Andrew Chai."

Sometimes you meet someone and within a few moments you feel that X factor kick in. You can't put your finger on it yet, but you know that you know! Andrew and I have a similar way of being, thinking, talking and doing. We are both Entreprenuers and we are both passionate about psychometric profiling and supporting organisations in their People Development.

Throughout our conversations we found a place where my experience and talent could provide him with a missing piece to his business. I signed the non disclosure documents and started working with him, because I could see that what he had was the next level of psychometric profiling, and I wanted in!

Introducing Drawmetrics

I'd never heard of this system until I met Andrew, and then I was fascinated by it, every single piece of the story, from it's inception at Emirates through to it's current roll out in Singapore.

The concept that through drawing "doodles" on shapes, responses could reveal information about me was, to be frank, a little mind blowing!

To be honest I was a little skeptical but as soon as I had my own profile information, that skepticism flew straight out the window.

My Drawmetrics profile revealed information about me that no other profiling tool had ever revealed before. There were words I was confronted with that were hard to read, but I knew that they were true! Words that no other psychometric tool had ever uncovered. How was it possible that my drawings could reveal this information about me - from me drawing a window, a rabbit, a gift box?

The sample Doodles below are NOT my own information, but it does illustrate the kinds of "Doodles" that are done onto 10 randomly selected shapes. After the Doodles are complete the algorithm goes to work and that's were the magic happens.

I Needed Validity Information

Like most people with a background in psychometric profiling, it's all about the validation, the statistical reliability and the research that is done. Andrew told me that he had that all in hand and I was delighted to be in Singapore with him when Drawmetrics received it's validation status in January of 2026, that's an entire story of it's own! Not for this blog.

I Needed To Use the Tool to Validate It For Myself

I started coaching and debriefing with Drawmetrics and was delighted with the results. It was a different experience than any of the other psychometrics that I'd used because the subconscious mind is activated through this process and the results that come out are not necessarily known by the conscious mind.

This was the part that was really fascinating and the AH HA moments happening for my clients was a delight to be a part of. After I had debriefed 30 coaching clients I was committed to becoming the first Master Coach for Drawmetrics. I have had the pleasure of designing the Practitioner Certification for Debriefers and Coaches who are wanting to add this cutting edge tool to their toolkit.

So as I approach my first anniversary with Drawmetrics I am still as awed with the tool as I was when I received my own first profile. I've learned so much about profiling that is new and unique and it's been a journey that I've enjoyed every second on.

It's now my privilege to conduct webinars with Andrew, where I get to help explain this incredible tool to coaches, consultants and people developers around the world.

Part of my role is supporting the emerging coaches as they take the tool into their workplaces and begin to use it with their own clients.

This group certified in March 2026 are a very diverse category of practitioners who have very different uses for Drawmetrics.
