I've spent much of my professional life working alongside capable women, as leaders, business owners, professionals and coaches and one thing continues to strike me.
Women are often more capable than they believe themselves to be.
I've seen extraordinarily competent women question whether they're ready, underestimate the value they bring, hesitate before putting themselves forward, or feel they need to know just a little more before they can confidently take their place. That's why I'm passionate about women in leadership.
I want more women to recognise what is already there, their capability, experience, judgement, influence and potential and have the confidence to use it.
Women in Leadership is one small way I can help make that happen.
