What do you bring to the table?  Arzoo will share her perspective on what makes a sucuessful woman in leadership, from her position of facilitating business growth for many women-led small and medium sized businesses in New Zealand. She’ll share what she’s observed about the specific strengths women bring to leadership including: authenticity, taking a heart-based approach, resilience and courage. In addition she’ll outline some common challenges: being comfortable taking a lead, doubting your strengths and overthinking decisions before taking action.  At the end of this session you’ll understand some practical ways you can be your own best coach and cheerleader, to help you thrive.

A confident woman is happier and more effective than someone who is constantly questioning their self worth.  In this presentation women will be encouraged to build their self-confidence and use practical solutions to common derailing thoughts that inhibit many women’s plans.  Learn how to:-

  • Eliminate all "faking" it talk

  • Step into uncertainty and risk

  • Use empowering self talk

  • Manage doubt and explore negative emotions

Understand your key strengths, passions and values.  Boost your success by learning to communicate what you've achieved in the past and what you envision for your future. Being confident, competent and visible is a great combination for opening up opportunities.  Take stock of where you're at and what else you'd like to be known for. Learn how to:-

1.55 Be the Best You - Marina
Understanding your own and others  competencies, preferred behavioural styles and communication preferences is vital.  Adjusting to tailor your communication helps to build relationships, handle conflict with confidence and work positively with change.  This session will provide plenty of practical tools for relating to others more effectively. Learn how to:-

  • Upskill your Emotional Intelligence 

  • Handle conflict head on instead of walking away

  • Transform relationships with tailored communication

  • Recognise extroversion and introversion and how to manage self and others.

2.55 Afternoon Tea

3.15 Grit and Pivot
When faced with decisions and challenges recognise when to lean in and hold fast to the trajectory that you’ve chosen and when to change direction/focus and put your energy into something new.  Christine will present the behaviours and mindsets that will underpin your success. Learn how to:-

  • Identify the power of choice in all situations

  • Learn how to develop a flexible mindset

  • Accept responsibility for future decisions

  • Avoid getting stuck in a dreaded career or business silo
