A Global PWC Survey shows that the percentage of senior leaders who agree that their organisation's culture is an important area of focus for them has risen from 53% in 2013 to 67% in 2021. The number of references to organisational culture in leading business publications went up by more than five times between 2019 and 2020.
Despite people being interested and the importance speaking for itself, globally, employee engagement is at an all-time low, Burnout is at an all-time high. Recent stats suggest that 49% of us are burnt out, and that the cause of this burnout is bad company culture. In fact, bad company culture increases the risk of burnout by 150%. We clearly need to change the way we approach culture.
In this engaging, energetic and applicable presentation, Renée will discuss why changing culture requires a movement, not a mandate; and the role that leaders (and leadership coaches) have to play in this.
